Last night, the Banksville and Port Chester fire departments teamed-up for training on tanker operations. The drill was conducted at the Port Chester DPW garage. BIFD Assistant Chief Al Farquhar provided an overview of rural water supply options, tanker shuttle operations and the equipment and capabilities of Banksville's Tanker 7. The dump tank was set-up and Tanker 7 made 8 dumps while Port Chester utilized their engine to draft and flow water. Thank you to the Port Chester Fire Department for inviting us and hosting the drill. |
